Welcome to our Instructional Modules
for New to Tahoma Teachers!
Over the course of the next two quarters you will choose two of the modules created above to extend or stretch your instructional practice in your own classroom. You will receive the remaining 8 paid hours for this work as a new teacher to the Tahoma School District through a services rendered form. Below is a simple version of the work expected to be completed to earn your hours.
Introduce Yourself: Before beginning any new module, please introduce yourself to the group by sharing your first name, last initial and school (Bridget V. (MV/ST)) then begin each of the steps below.
Step 1: Learn - this would include the reading and watching the videos attached to each module.
Step 2: Respond to the Prompt - after reading or watching the attached texts, provide your initial response to what you just learned to the blog.
Step 3: Implement Your Learning - this is the create/plan/practice portion of the module—you actually won’t be turning anything in.
Step 4: Invite Your Coach to Observe Your Plan - this is the observation/coaching cycle portion of the module and where you will meet with your coach after the observation.
Step 5: Final Reflection - respond to the final reflection prompt and post it to the blog.
